Site Manager
We are looking for a proactive and hardworking Site Manager to join our busy support team working on the maintenance and upkeep of our premises.
 
The successful candidate will understand the requirement to maintain the premises to a very high standard and be committed to providing a clean and safe environment for all Centre users.   It is essential to be able to work independently, using own initiative and prioritising workloads.  
 
The successful applicant will need to:
 
*  Be skilled in cleaning procedures, routine maintenance and redecoration activities.
*  Be physically able to operate heavy duty cleaning equipment and lift heavy objects.
*  Have supervisory experience.
*  Act as a principal key holder and attend the Centre in response to “call outs” in emergencies.
*  Possess good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude towards others.
*  Be a good communicator (both orally and in writing).
*  Have good organisational ability, able to use own initiative and work as part of a team.
*  Have working knowledge of health and safety legislation and a good understanding of COSHH regulations.
*  Undertake appropriate training to enable them to meet the demands of their role effectively.
*  Be reliable and take pride in their work.

The Centre operates from 7.45am – 8.00pm, Monday to Friday. This is a permanent post, 32.5 hours per week, 52 weeks a year with an actual starting salary of £14,237.  The anticipated normal hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 2.00pm (to include a 30 minute rest break), with the requirement to work 4 hours on a Saturday, once a month.
